I made a birthday card today using one of my fairy designs. I love making these fairies and making their dresses out of different dies. I used the Flower Die (Rev-0175).

First I cut an aperture in the card using the Nesting Frames dies (DC0178) and put acetate behind it. I then layered over the cut out designs.

 .............and all creatures on earth should have their Valentines!

To make a real tree scene for this card I used the RS-0440 Leaves die by Quickutz/L​ifestyle Crafts. The paper by La Blanche, Anne Griffin, has a good motif for simulating a tree crown in the background. I created the tag using the smallest Ovals from Nesting Ovals #2 die. The flowers, lace and bow are taken a backseat because of the brilliantly colored stamps.

I am really into red and white at the moment so it' s perfect for Valentine' s Day. I used the Bakery Box from the Black Friday Release and dressed it up with a beautiful flower.

I embossed the front of the box and the flowers for effect. This would also make a great favor box at a wedding!!

I have used a punched from the set Quickutz / Lifestyle Crafts (Balloons-01) " nest Balloons" and stuck with 3D pads. I then pulled the cord by the subject. The heart of the balloon are Quickutz / Lifestyle Crafts (Rev 0200) " Love Birds" and also highlighted with the 3D pads.

The corners I made with the Quickutz / Lifestyle Crafts (DD0029) " Heart Corner" X. All edges are swept back with the Ranger / Tim Holtz "fired brick" Distressed Ink Pad.

Sweets for my sweet, sugar for my honey!

But no, thinking of you lets my heart beat as though it would burst.

For showing this, I used some heart die cuts from the Cookie Cutter - Love Shape-04 Set by Quickutz. The watering can lets the hearts flow and they say, “Will you be My Valentine, My Sweetheart”?

Close To My Heart ~ Deep Pink White Core Card Stock

Directions:

Cut Cupcake liner & two hearts from Deep Pink card stock.  Cut liner in half.  Emboss pieces with Polka Dot embossing folder.  Sand. Adhere liner ends together.

Fill each treat bag with 5 chocolate kisses.  Tie with ribbon. Adhere hearts.

Stamp Valentine’s saying onto white card stock.  Emboss.  Hand cut out.  Adhere with mount foam to center of heart.

Directions:

Cut Pillow Box from White card stock.  Cut center top with large and small heart from Basic Cupcake Liner die set.  Emboss with Polka Dots Embossing folder.  Fold and adhere together.  Fill with Red Hots.

Stamp Valentine’s saying onto white card stock.  Emboss.  Layer with mount foam onto scrap Red & White card stock.  Adhere to Pillow Box.  Add black ribbon knot.

Cut Hearts from Basic Cupcake Liner.  Layer & adhere to bow.

Stamp Valentine’s saying.  Emboss.  Hand cut & layer to center of bow.

Fill each treat bag with 5 Smarties packages.  Adhere to inside of each end.
