To make a real tree scene for this card I used the RS-0440 Leaves die by Quickutz/Lifestyle Crafts. The paper by La Blanche, Anne Griffin, has a good motif for simulating a tree crown in the background. I created the tag using the smallest Ovals from Nesting Ovals #2 die. The flowers, lace and bow are taken a backseat because of the brilliantly colored stamps.

I am really into red and white at the moment so it' s perfect for Valentine' s Day. I used the Bakery Box from the Black Friday Release and dressed it up with a beautiful flower.

I embossed the front of the box and the flowers for effect. This would also make a great favor box at a wedding!!

I have used a punched from the set Quickutz / Lifestyle Crafts (Balloons-01) " nest Balloons" and stuck with 3D pads. I then pulled the cord by the subject. The heart of the balloon are Quickutz / Lifestyle Crafts (Rev 0200) " Love Birds" and also highlighted with the 3D pads.

The corners I made with the Quickutz / Lifestyle Crafts (DD0029) " Heart Corner" X. All edges are swept back with the Ranger / Tim Holtz "fired brick" Distressed Ink Pad.

Sweets for my sweet, sugar for my honey!

Directions:
Cut die # 1 six times from silver glitter paper. Cut die # 2, three times. Adhere to white card stock. Hand cut each out. Layer small star to center with mount foam. Adhere wire to backs of stars.
Stamp saying. Punch out. Layer onto larger punched silver circle.
Add ribbon to box. Hot glue wire stems to center of top of box. Tie bow. Glue over wire.

A piece of cotton fabric in violet, lilac or/and claret, needle, yarn, and

crocheted cotton ribbon in claret

Flowers and leaves, scissor, glue, foam pads

Step 1:

Stamp the motif "Christmas Rose" from La Blanche with Archival Ink Black on

the stamping paper and color it in carlet, lilac, tattered rose and the middle

in orange. It doesn´t matter which method you use, whether Aquarell colors

or Copic Markers. When done, cut out the motif with a little edge. Now glue

the crocheted claret cotton ribbon to the edge of the backside.

The ribbon has to be glued crimpy, then lay aside.

Step 2:

Take the scrapbooking paper and draw the cutout of the frame for a smaller
background paper. Stamp with the "small line" of Letterpress Plate" Petite" and
Distress Ink "dusty concord" to the middle of the cutout. Above this line stamp
with the Sizzix "Ornamental Elements" Letterpress Plate and "dusty concord" 2
times next to one another for making a border. Then stamp the chair from the
Letterpress Plate "Damask" as well with Memento Ink "Tuxedo Black" to the left
side beneath the line, like shown in the picture. When all is done, color the whole
paper with Distress Inks "dusty concord", "Victorian velvet", "milled lavender" and
"tattered rose" a little at the edges and a little bit in the middle, but not too much.

Step 3:

Take the piece of cotton fabric, cut out a piece larger then 8cm x 21 cm. You can
use a sewing machine or make it by hand with needle and yarn. I prefer by hand
because the stitches are much finer. From the remaining fabric you’ll make a valance
for the curtain. For this you must frazzle one side of an 3cm x 8cm piece of fabric,
fold it in the middle and glue it together. Now plug a pin from Teresa Collins "Ali´s Pin"
angular through the curtain and glue the flower from Teresa Collins "Miranda´s Jewels" on top.

Step 4:
Flute the curtain and glue him at the right side and the top of the frame, but only
the edges, not the whole curtain. Also affix the valance on top of the frame.
Mount the Victorian Woman from Glitz Design with 3D Foam Pads to the paper beside the curtain.

Step 5:
Apply the La Blanche Christmas Rose also with 3D Foam Pads to the right
corner and stick 2 of "Ali´s Pins" angular under the motif through the ribbon.
Finally you can arrange some flowers below in the left corner. Their colors must
be the same as the Distress Inks you used for the background paper. For the
leaves I made die cuts with the QuicKutz "Damask" and the Marianne Design
Creatables "Floral" and edited a little bit with Distress Ink "pine needles".

Silver Mirror Card

Using the Matchbox Die cut out 24 boxes in the desired colors and assemble. You should have 2 parts to each matchbox, the outer casing and the inside box.

With the inside box part of the matchbox, punch out a semi-circle in the front so that the drawers are easy to open.

Cut out 24 of the 2^nd smallest nesting frames and attach to the front of the match boxes.

Cut out the numbers 1 to 24 in the silver mirror card and attach to the nesting frame on the front on the boxes.

Insert the inside boxes into each of the outer casings and your advent tree is complete

Stamp image on Neenah cardstock. Color in.
Stamp Iron Gate words on side of image with Versamark ink. Let dry completely. Rub Weathered Wood ink over words. Staamp card with Script stamp with Versamark Ink. Let dry completely. Rub Vintage Photo ink over entire card. Add brads to image. Layer and attach image to card. Add bow. Stamp “Love” and cut out with Heart die. Layer onto bow.

Instructions:
Measure and cut patterned paper to fit front & back of book. Adhere.
Measure and cut brown cardstock to fit edge of book. Emboss. Rub with ink. Adhere. Make magnet closure. Adhere.
Cut out letters. Punch three dots. Arrange and adhere. Adhere ribbon around edge. Color brads with Copic E49. Adhere to corners.
Airbrush clocks, keys and chain with E39. Add ribbon. Adhere.

This little pail was made to give a little gift at Thanksgiving time.

I took a strip of card and put it through the Letterpress machine using the Thicket plate. Once this was dry, I spritzed with 3 different colors of glimmer mists. Between each color, I set the mist using a heat tool.

I then inserted the strip of card into the pail and finished off with a little decoration on the outside of the pail.

Cut Nesting Bloom, die #3 with Metal Sheet, make 3. Spray both sides with Copic E79. Fold leaves up to make base.
Print names. Cut/Emboss with Tags Trio, small. Tie onto candle with ribbon. Add fall leaves. Insert candle into base.

Instructions:
Using Die # 19, 16. Cut cardboard and papers. Emboss & ink brown paper. Adhere papers to cardboard.
Tape Die #10 & 13 evenly spaced apart. Cut cardboard and paper. Ink brown paper. Adhere to frame.
Cut plastic with Die #11. Adhere to back of frame.
Type word out. Cut/Emboss with Die #7. Adhere to center of Polka a Dot piece. Add leaves.
Add mount foam to back of frame. Adhere over saying. Adhere this piece with mount foam to brown inked woodgrain piece.
Color Winter Marci.

Cut out. Adhere to right side of frame. Add foliage.
Cut a 2” x 5 “ piece of cardboard. Score 1” down. Fold and adhere to back of frame for stand. Add 2 ½” ribbon to hold.

For this card base I have used the Quickutz/Lifestyle Crafts (DC0180) " Nesting Frame 7... really great dies to make a shaped card! So many fun shapes... for the design paper I used a smaller nesting frame and for the image another smaller one... there are 22 dies in this package!!! Isn’t that amazing?

Used some design papers from Basic Grey, a ribbon, flowers, brads and some letter stickers and pearls.

Cut 10 each of the Circles from the Cupcake stand and wildflower die.
Cut 2 cupcake stands and stick them together.
Cut out the body and backing card (both free hand drawn).
Lastly cut 1 love heart, 2 banners (one for a shadow effect) and a small triangle.

Roll each of the circles and wildflowers into a cone.

Stick to wildflower cone inside the circle cone. These will form the turkey feathers.

Stick the stand together (it doesn’t matter which way).

Stick all of the feathers to the backing board then stick it to the stand. I put a slight bend in the stands feet to make sure it is able to hold the weight of the turkey’s body.

Cut out the ovals and write what you are grateful for on each card.

Stick the body on then insert each card into the feathers.

It´s Halloween!
I looked at the dies I had and what I could use for a Halloween card...this is the result.
The background paper is embossed, the die cuts are all distressed and stained with Ranger Ink in different colors. The QuicKutz Pumpkin is embossed by hand. Again I layered all with foam pads in different thickness.

Acetate
Double sided tape
Black ribbon
Orange patterned paper
black patterned paper
American Crafts thickers
Tim Holtz distress ink in "rusty hinge"
foam tape
Scallop punch
1 3/8" circle punch
Martha Stewart double sided edge punch "infinite loops"

Step 1
Cut a piece of acetate 7” x 7” square

Place double sided tape on one edge

Roll to adhere 7 form a tube – see picture #1

Step 2

Using the Martha Stewart double edge punch “infinite loops”, punch a strip of orange patterned paper long enough to go around the acetate tube

See picture #2

Step 3

Cut two pieces of 7” by 4” orange patterned paper

Run double sided tape along one long edge & one short edge of each piece

Adhere to the ends of the tube – see picture #3

Step 4

Using scissors cut strips in both ends of the orange patterned paper – see picture #4

Step 5

Cut a piece of black patterned paper just a bit larger than the punched piece of orange patterned paper you created in step 2

Adhere the black paper under the orange for contrast – see picture #5

Step 6

Adhere the piece around the middle of the tube – see picture #6

Step 7

Punch a scallop out of the orange patterned paper

Punch a circle out of the black patterned paper

Adhere the black circle on top of the orange with foam tape

Using Tim Holtz distress ink in “rusty hinge” ink some white American crafts thicker letter stickers to match the patterned paper

Adhere them to the black circle

Then adhere the piece to the middle of the tube – see picture #7

Step 8

Using the black ribbon, tie a bow around one end of the tube, where the fringe of cut strips ends

Using your fingers, splay the fringe for effect

Instructions:

For Bag: Cut two pieces of Canvas @ 11 ½” x 13”. Place wrong sides of fabric out. Sew three sides. Invert bag. Iron. Fold down top ½”. Iron. Fold again another ½”. Iron. Sew.

For Handles: Cut two pieces of Canvas @ 3” x 22”. Fold in half long ways. Iron. Fold each half to inside center. Iron. Sew each edge long ways. Fold each end ½” up. Sew 3” in from outside edge of bag. Repeat for second handle.

For Spider, Web & Letters: Iron on Heat n Bond Iron-On Adhesive to white fabric and black felt. Follow directions on package. Cut four Spider Webs out from white fabric. One Black felt Spider. Letters from Black Felt.

Tip: I used my Sizzix Big Shot to cut these out. Place dies directly on top of both clear plates so they touch the metal roller. This will not hurt your dies.

Spray Copic C7 Cool Gray onto bag. Let dry.

Iron on Spider Web, then Spider. Glue tiny gems to spider.

Place Letters and iron on.

Add flowers and ribbon.

Directions:
Cut a piece of Bazzill cardstock to 5 x 7 inches
* along one edge, use an edge punch to create a pattern
* using distress ink, stamp along one edge using the stamping wheel
* place 3 Kaisercraft rhinestones in the bottom left corner
* rip a piece of DCWV cardstock and adhere using double sided tape to the left side ofth page
* distress the edges of the photo using scissors or a distressing tool. Using double sided tape, adhere to the page over the bottom portion of the ripped paper (allowing some of the paper to show under the photo)
* Adgere a flower to the top left of the page
* Adhere a button as a flower centre
* Adhere a title to the top right of the page. You could hand write it, stamp it, emboss it, use stickers.. the possibilities are endless!

The background is decorated with the water technique. Distress ink stamp on an acrylic block, with water spray and press the glossy paper. Then let dry.

Making the flowers was very easy. I cut with the dies, layered together and mounted with foam pads. For the table I used the nesting rectangles. Vases, pots and the table were distressed with Ranger Distress Ink (walnut).

Cut purple card stock with D2-2 die.
Print “Scissors” with Harrington Font. Cut out with die D1-2. Layer together.
Hot glue Boa to Scissor holder flap. Glue tag to Boa. Add rhinestones.
